Mostly found in children, this viral infection is characterised by small raised lumps, which can be itchy. Typically the lumps appear pink, waxy and have a small pit in the centre. They can spread to other areas of the skin and to other people.

Molluscum Contagiosum is a highly contagious but benign condition. Treatment should be discussed with your specialist dermatologist and can include liquid nitrogen, a blistering agent or an immune system stimulating cream.
