THAN JUST YOUR SKIN

Why choose East Malvern Dermatology?

We are dedicated to providing comprehensive care for all of your dermatological needs. We have three highly experienced dermatologists consulting at our rooms including Dr Matheen Mohamed, A/Prof Gayle Ross and Dr Anina Fitzgibbon—alongside our skilled Dermal Clinician, who provides specialised skin treatments to support dermatological care. Our clinic also consists of dedicated nursing and administration staff available to assist with any enquiries. With modern, well-equipped rooms, we ensure that our patients receive the highest quality healthcare.

Special Interest

Each of our Dermatologists has their special interest skills. These include paediatric dermatology, acne treatment, skin cancer and melanoma surveillance, hair loss management, photodermatology, psoriasis, eczema and rosacea treatment.

Treatment

During your consultation with the Dermatologist a treatment plan for your condition will be discussed and medications prescribed when required. If a mole or lesion is of concern a biopsy can be performed soon after consultation (depending on urgency). In most cases results are obtained generally within a week after the biopsy.

At East Malvern Dermatology we pride ourselves on giving our patients the highest quality of care. Our dedicated team of experienced Dermatologists, nurses and administration staff work together to make sure each and every patient has a positive experience and outcome.

Dermal Care Services

Dermatology vs. Dermal Care

At our clinic, we offer two distinct types of services designed to address different aspects of skin health and aesthetics. Here’s how Dermatology services differ from Dermal Practice services, so you can choose the right care for your needs.

Dermatology Services: Medical Skin Care for Healthier Skin

Dermatology focuses on the medical treatment and diagnosis of skin conditions. Our dermatologists specialise in treating a wide range of skin disorders, from acne and eczema to skin cancer and other complex conditions.
Dermal Care Services: Aesthetic Treatments for Beautiful Skin
Dermal practices, also known as cosmetic dermatology, focus on enhancing the appearance of your skin. This service involves non-surgical procedures aimed at improving your skin’s texture, tone, and aesthetic appearance.
