East Malvern Dermatology is a specialist Dermatology clinic providing diagnostic and treatment services for a variety skin, hair and nail conditions. These conditions include skin cancer such as melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, precancerous spots such as solar keratosis, acne, psoriasis, eczema, urticaria, dermatitis, treatment of warts and molluscum contagiosum. We also offer procedural services such as biopsies and skin cancer surgery, laser therapy, cryotherapy, UVB phototherapy and photodynamic therapy (PDT).

We are dedicated to providing comprehensive care for all of your dermatological needs. We have three highly experienced dermatologists consulting at our rooms including Dr Matheen Mohamed, Dr Gayle Ross and Dr Anina Fitzgibbon. The clinic also consists of dedicated nursing and administration staff available to help with any enquiries. Our rooms are modern and well equipped to aid in patients receiving the highest quality healthcare.
Each of our Dermatologists has their specialist skills. These include paediatric dermatology, acne treatment, skin cancer and melanoma surveillance, hair loss management, photodermatology, psoriasis, eczema and rosacea treatment.
During your consultation with the Dermatologist a treatment plan for your condition will be discussed and medications prescribed when required. If a mole or lesion is of concern a biopsy can be performed soon after consultation (depending on urgency). In most cases results are obtained 2-3 days after the biopsy.

Dr Matheen Mohamed
Dr Matheen Mohamed graduated MBBS (Hons) from Monash University in 1993. He earned his specialist qualification in dermatology (FACD) in 2001 and a Master of Public Health (MPH) at Monash in 2005.
Dr Gayle Ross
Dr Ross completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from Monash University in 1999.
Dr Anina Fitzgibbon
Dr Anina Fitzgibbon completed her medical degree in Finland in 1997. She became a Specialist in Dermatology and Allergology in 2005, as well as completing a PhD in the field of Dermatology.
East Malvern Dermatology is located at 503 Waverley Road, East Malvern, conveniently between the East Malvern Station and Chadstone Road.
